Played 41 times.Paul McCartney - Yvonne
The Theme Is Girls Names
This is an outtake song from his Press To Play Album. This song never made it on the record, and it’s obvious that he did not have the lyrics done in certain parts. Still a great beatlesque pop gem.

til there was you, the beatles
Every time I hear this in the car
and sing along to itI have to post it. I can’t help myself.
Strange, I’ve been thinking about this song for the past two or three days, long story, but it’s on a special mix in progress. I was a little kid the first time I heard this, and I still remember how I was transfixed (and assuming the Beatles had written it) from start to finish with this song. I still don’t think there is a better version of this song, with the pitch perfect vocal quality of a 21-year-old Paul McCartney singing it, how can you beat it?

Paul McCartney And Wings - Backwards Traveller
45 rpm single
I dedicate this song to Tumblr.
The Brits spell Traveler with two Ls? I just noticed that. Must commit that one to the Colour, Aluminium, memory chest.
I thought some of you Beatles fans may like to see this. Some weeks ago I purchased a collection of 45 RPMs, among which were a few Beatles records with picture sleeves. Inside one of the picture sleeves was this photograph. Although the details are not clear on the photograph, it appears that this was taken at a Beatles concert by a fan, possibly the person who owned the Beatles portion of the collection I purchased. The person with the white coat and the guitar strap (with back to the camera) looks like it may be John Lennon. I’m not sure who the person with the colorful psychedelic shirt is but he resembles Ringo. To the right of John Lennon there appears to be someone facing him who may be Paul McCartney, or George Harrison. Unfortunately the person to John Lennon’s right is not visible enough to determine whether he is garnishing a left-handed or right-handed instrument. These are all assumptions, but based on the fact that the photograph was inside an original 1960s Beatles picture sleeve, there is a good probability these are the Beatles we are looking at in this photograph. Not just a Beatles photograph, but most probably an undocumented one. The photograph is 3 x 3 inches which is not typical of 1970s era photos, but more so 1960s. I have a high-end photo scanner, but there is only so much you can do with regards to clarity on a photograph this old, regardless of high resolution scan settings. What is not there to begin with, cannot be brought out. That applies to life as well on some level, doesn’t it?
